This ministry is for the youth of our
parish, grades 9 – 12 and we meet on Sunday evenings
at the Chapel on Bedford Avenue in Fishkill from 7 - 9PM from September – June. We are very active and
participate in a variety of activities such as “Catholic
Underground”, Retreats, bowling. In honor of Veterans
Day this past year we wrote Christmas cards to the
Troops and sent them via the Red Cross “Holiday Cards
for Heroes”. We worked with Hudson River Housing and
adopted several families for Thanksgiving.
Many members attended the CYFM Lock In; while others
attended Catholic Underground in November.
December – we helped several needy families for
Christmas – buying and wrapping gifts and we held our
“Family and Friends Pot Luck Dinner”.
January – we had a reunion of past God’s TYM
members. Several members attended the March for Life in
Washington DC and more girls were chosen to be leaders
on the DDA retreats for February and April.
February – Super Bowl Sunday – collections for
the caring “ Super Bowl of Caring” – members will be in
the back of the church after every mass to take
donations.
